The issue

On certain vehicles, a seal within the brake master cylinder may have deformed during vehicle assembly. As such, the driver may experience extended brake pedal travel and increased stopping distance, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the brake master cylinder assembly.

Sur certains véhicules, un joint d'étanchéité dans le maître­cylindre du circuit de freinage pourrait s’être déformé pendant le montage du véhicule. La course de la pédale de freinage pourrait augmenter, ainsi que les distances de freinage, ce qui pourrait causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, si nécessaire, remplacer le maître-cylindre du circuit de freinage.
