The issue

On certain vehicles, the steering gear pitman arm may not have been manufactured correctly and could fail. Pitman arm failure would cause a loss of steering control, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering gear pitman arm.

Sur certains véhicules, la bielle pendante du boîtier de direction pourrait ne pas avoir été fabriquée correctement et pourrait faire défaut. Si la bielle pendante faisait défaut, cela entraînerait une perte de contrôle de la direction, ce qui causerait un accident, endommagerait des biens matériels ou blesserait quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer la bielle pendante du boîtier de direction.
