The issue

On certain aerial devices installed on utility service vehicles (to elevate personnel in order to facilitate working on overhead service lines, for tree trimming, etc.), the lower boom could crack near the pivot and fail. This could allow the boom to fall, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Authorized service centers will inspect and, if necessary, install a boom stiffener kit.

Sur certains dispositifs aériens posés sur des véhicules d'entretien (pour soulever du personnel afin de faciliter le travail sur des lignes de service en hauteur, pour tailler des arbres, etc.), la flèche inférieure pourrait se fissurer près du pivot et faire défaut. Cela pourrait causer la chute de la flèche, ce qui endommagerait des biens matériels ou blesserait quelqu'un. Correction : Les centres de service autorisés devront inspecter et, si nécessaire, poser un ensemble raidisseur de flèche.
