The issue

On certain aerial devices, the cylinder end gland could fail which could cause uncontrolled boom movement which would increase the risk of injury to the operator. Correction : Dealers will inspect the cylinder head gland for deformation and repair or replace the cylinder head gland as necessary. Note: if the unit has a cylinder with a threaded head gland, the entire cylinder will be replaced.

Dans certains dispositifs aériens, la bague d'extrémité de vérin pourrait présenter une défaillance qui pourrait causer un mouvement non contrôlé de la flèche qui augmenterait les risques de blessures pour l'opérateur. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront vérifier si la bague d'extrémité de vérin est déformée, ainsi que la réparer ou la remplacer au besoin. Remarque : Si le dispositif aérien comprend un vérin à bague d'extrémité filetée, le vérin devra être remplacé en entier.
