The issue
On some fifth wheel trailers with the spare tire mounted on the bumper, the bumper may crack at the frame attachment points due to metal fatigue. This could cause the bumper to become separated from the trailer and strike a vehicle, property, or a bystander, resulting in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: A reinforcement kit will be installed at the bumper attachment point.

Sur certaines roulottes à sellette ayant le pneu de secours fixé sur le parechocs, le pare-chocs pourrait se fissurer aux points de fixation au châssis à cause d'une fatigue du métal. Le pare-chocs pourrait alors se détacher de la roulotte et percuter un véhicule, des biens matériels ou une personne se trouvant à proximité, ce qui endommagerait des biens matériels ou blesserait quelqu'un. Correction : Une trousse de renfort devra être posée au point de fixation du pare-chocs.
