The issue

On certain Chevrolet Impala police vehicles, the front control arms may fracture. If this occurs, some tire "squeal" or "chirping" may be heard when turning at low speeds. Sudden changes could occur in vehicle handling and, particularly at higher speeds, the driver may not be able to control the vehicle and a crash could occur, which may result in personal injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace both control arms.

Sur certains véhicules de police Chevrolet Impala, les bras de suspension avant pourraient se fracturer. Si cela se produisait, on pourrait entendre les pneus crisser ou siffler lors d'un virage à basse vitesse. Des changements soudains pourraient se produire au niveau du comportement routier du véhicule et, en particulier à haute vitesse, le conducteur pourrait ne pas être capable de contrôler le véhicule, et un accident pourrait se produire, ce qui pourrait blesser quelqu'un ou endommager des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les deux bras de suspension.
