The issue
On certain motorcycles, the regulator/rectifier can overheat and prevent battery charging. Once the battery is fully discharged, the motorcycle will stall. Engine stalling would result in lost vehicle propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road condition, and the rider’s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the regulator/rectifier.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, le régulateur/rectificateur pourrait surchauffer et empêcher la batterie de se charger. Une fois la batterie entièrement déchargée, la motocyclette calerait. Si le moteur calait, cela causerait une perte de propulsion du véhicule qui, en conjonction avec la densité de la circulation, l'état de la route et les réactions du conducteur, pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, si nécessaire, remplacer le régulateur/rectificateur.
