The issue

On certain vehicles, the steering wheel may have been manufactured incorrectly and could fail. This could allow the steering wheel to separate from the steering wheel hub. Should this occur while the vehicle is underway, the driver would lose steering control, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering wheel assembly.

Sur certains véhicules, le volant pourrait avoir été mal fabriqué et faire défaut. Cela pourrait lui permettre de se détacher de son moyeu. Si cela se produisait pendant que le véhicule roule, le conducteur perdrait le contrôle de la direction, ce qui pourrait causer un accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer le volant.
