The issue

On certain trailers, a brass fitting used to mount the air filter on the service brake air line could crack. This would result in a major air leak in the service brake line between the truck tractor and trailer, causing the trailer service brakes to be inoperative without prior warning and increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the brass fitting with a steel replacement.

Sur certaines remorques, le raccord en laiton utilisé pour monter le filtre à air sur la canalisation d'air des freins de service pourrait se fissurer. Cela pourrait causer une fuite d'air importante dans la canalisation située entre le tracteur routier et la remorque, rendant les freins de service inopérants subitement et augmentant les risques de collision causant des blessures corporelles et/ou des dommages aux biens. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent remplacer le raccord de laiton par un raccord en acier.
