The issue

On certain vehicles, the headlamp low beam projector coating may not have properly cured during the manufacturing process. Over time, this could cause the coating to become hazy, reducing the brightness of the low beam lamps. Dim headlamps may result in reduced illumination of the roadway and its users, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the headlamp assemblies.

Sur certains véhicules, le revêtement des projecteurs des phares de croisement pourrait ne pas avoir séché correctement pendant le processus de fabrication. À la longue, cela pourrait faire en sorte que le revêtement devienne opaque, ce qui diminuerait la brillance des phares de croisement. Des phares opaques pourraient faire en sorte que la route et ses usagers soient moins bien éclairés, ce qui pourrait causer un accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les phares.
