The issue

On certain buses equipped with a Ricon platform wheelchair lift, depending on the installation location, the handheld pendant control wiring protective cover could contact the hydraulic pump power lug. As the protective cover is conductive, this would result in a high current short-circuit and cause a fire, possibly resulting in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Owners will be provided with a supplemental cover kit and a non-conductive cover for the control wiring.

Sur certains véhicules munis d'une plate-forme de levage de fauteuil roulant Ricon, en fonction du lieu de la pose, le dispositif de protection du fil de la commande portative pourrait entrer en contact avec le dispositif d'alimentation de la pompe hydraulique. Comme le dispositif de protection est conducteur d'électricité, cela causerait un court-circuit à courant élevé et un incendie, ce qui pourrait blesser quelqu'un ou endommager des biens matériels. Correction : On devra fournir aux propriétaires une trousse de recouvrement supplémentaire et un dispositif de recouvrement non conducteur pour le fil de commande.
