The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with dealer-installed accessory puddle lights, a short circuit may develop causing the lights to melt and/or emit smoke. This could result in a fire causing property damage and/or injury. Correction: Dealers will install an additional fused wiring harness to protect against short circuits.

Sur certains véhicules équipés d'éclairage de bas de caisse accessoire posé par le concessionnaire, un court-circuit pourrait se produire causant la fonte des lampes et/ou l'émission de fumée. Cela pourrait causer un incendie, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires poseront un faisceau de fils avec fusible supplémentaire pour protéger contre les courts-circuits.
