The issue

On certain motorcycles, wheel bearings from an unapproved supplier were installed during the manufacturing process. Confidence in the bearing is low since Triumph has no details regarding the bearing supplier, or its quality controls and standards. The durability and performance of these bearings is thereby unknown. Bearing failure could cause a crash resulting in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the wheel bearings.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, des roulements de roues provenant d'un fournisseur non approuvé ont été installés pendant le processus de fabrication. Ces roulements suscitent peu de confiance puisque Triumph n'a aucun détail en rapport au fournisseur de roulements, ni sur leurs normes et contrôles de la qualité. La durabilité et le rendement de ces roulements sont inconnus. La défaillance des roulements pourrait causer un accident endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, le cas échéant, remplacer les roulements de roue.
