The issue

On certain vehicles, fuel transfer from the secondary to the primary side of the fuel tank may be interrupted, possibly resulting in engine stalling and loss of motive power. In conjunction with traffic, road conditions and driver's reactions, this could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install an updated fuel transfer tube.

Dans certains véhicules, le transfert de carburant de la section secondaire à la section primaire du réservoir à carburant peut être interrompu et possiblement causer l'arrêt du moteur et la perte de puissance motrice. Conjointement à la densité de la circulation, à l'état de la route et aux réactions du conducteur, une telle situation augmente les risques d'accident pouvant endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser une canalisation de transfert de carburant à jour.
