The issue
On certain buses, the grid heater power wire may have been routed incorrectly and could chafe against the chassis frame rail. Continued contact could wear through the wire’s insulation, which could cause an electrical short circuit. An electrical short could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, reroute the grid heater power wire.

Dans certains autobus, le fil d'alimentation de la grille chauffante pourrait avoir été mal acheminé et pourrait s'user par frottement contre le rail du cadre du châssis. Un contact continu pourrait percer l'isolant du fil, ce qui pourrait causer un court-circuit et provoquer un incendie dans un véhicule, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, si nécessaire, déplacer le fil d'alimentation de la grille cfhauffante.
