The issue

On certain vehicles, a defect in manufacturing could result in a loss of oil supply to the vacuum pump. If this were to occur, the vacuum pump could fail, causing a loss of power assist to the braking system. This could cause increased stopping distances, possibly resulting in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a camshaft seal disk locking ring.

Sur certains véhicules, un défaut de fabrication pourrait résulter en une perte d'approvisionnement en huile au niveau de la pompe à vide. Si cela se produisait, la pompe à vide pourrait faire défaut, ce qui causerait une perte d'assistance au freinage. Cela pourrait augmenter les distances de freinage, ce qui pourrait résulter en un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un anneau de verrouillage de disque d'étanchéité d'arbre à cames.
