Recall 2014030

The issue

On certain vehicles, the fuel filler pipe could corrode and become perforated. This could allow fuel to leak onto the ground while refuelling the vehicle or shortly thereafter. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel filler pipe.

Sur certains véhicules, le tuyau de remplissage du réservoir à carburant pourrait se corroder et se perforer. Cela pourrait permettre à du carburant de fuir et de tomber au sol pendant le remplissage du réservoir à carburant ou peu après. Une fuite de carburant, en présence d'une source d'inflammation, pourrait causer un incendie endommageant des biens matériels ou blessant quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le tuyau de remplissage du réservoir à carburant.
