The issue

On certain vehicles, the clearance lights may not have been adequately sealed at time of manufacture, allowing water ingress. This could cause an electrical short, potentially resulting in a fire, and cause the lights to fail, decreasing vehicle conspicuity. These issues could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the affected lights and install an inline fuse.

Sur certains véhicules, les feux de gabarit pourraient ne pas avoir été correctement scellés lors de la fabrication, ce qui pourrait permettre l'entrée d'eau. Cela pourrait causer un court-circuit, ce qui pourrait entraîner un incendie et causer l'extinction des feux, ce qui rendra le véhicule moins visible. Ces problèmes pourraient augmenter le risque de blessures ou de dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les feux touchés et installer un fusible monté sur conducteur.
