The issue

On certain trucks fuelled by compressed natural gas, the exhaust tailpipe may terminate under the fuel tank cabinet. Over time, the continued heating of the fuel tank by exhaust gases could increase the risk of a fire, causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install an exhaust pipe extension to relocate the tailpipe.

Sur certains camions fonctionnant au gaz naturel comprimé, le tuyau d'échappement pourrait se terminer sous le compartiment du réservoir à carburant. À la longue, le chauffage continu du réservoir à carburant par les gaz d'échappement pourrait augmenter les risques d'un incendie blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser une rallonge au tuyau d'échappement pour déplacer le tuyau d'échappement.
