The issue

On certain vehicles, wiring harness connector could corrode due to exposure to snow/water containing road salt. This could result in an electrical short causing damage to the connector and increasing the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will add a waterproof seal, inspect the harness connector and replace as necessary.

Sur certains véhicules, le raccord de faisceau de câbles pourrait se corroder à cause d'une exposition à de la neige/de l'eau contenant du calcium. Cela pourrait causer un court­circuit endommageant le raccord et augmentant le risque d'un incendie blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront ajouter un joint étanche à l'eau, inspecter le raccord de faisceau et le remplacer au besoin.
