The issue

On certain vehicles, the blower motor may have been incorrectly manufactured. This could result in a premature failure of the blower motor which could affect the defroster performance resulting in reduced visibility, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace blower motor and the power transistor as needed.

Sur certains véhicules, le moteur de ventilateur pourrait ne pas avoir été fabriqué correctement. Cela pourrait causer une défaillance prématurée de ce moteur, ce qui pourrait nuire au rendement du dégivreur et, par conséquent, nuire à la visibilité du conducteur. Cela augmenterait les risques de collision pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le moteur de ventilateur et le transistor de puissance, au besoin.
