The issue
On certain motorhomes, the slide out controller may short due to moisture infiltration. This could allow the slide out compartment to be operated while the vehicle is moving, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a relay to disconnect the slide out controller power source in the event of an electrical short.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, le contrôleur de glissement de la pièce coulissante pourrait faire défaut suite à une infiltration d'humidité. Cela pourrait mettre en marche le contrôleur pendant que le véhicule se déplace, augmentant le risque d'accident causant des blessures ou des dommages matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront installer un relais pour débrancher la source d'alimentation du contrôleur en cas de court-circuit.
