The issue

Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 101 - Location and Identification of Controls and Displays. The instrument cluster may not display safety warning lamps/messages, and sound chimes when the ignition key is first turned on, contrary to the requirements of the standard. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the instrument cluster.

Certains véhicules pourraient ne pas satisfaire aux exigences de la norme de sécurité des véhicules automobiles du Canada (NSVAC) 101 – Emplacement et identification des commandes et des affichages. Le groupe d'instruments pourrait ne pas afficher des voyants/messages d'avertissement et pourrait ne pas produire de sons lorsqu'on tourne la clé de contact à la position « ON » (marche), ce qui va à l'encontre des exigences de la norme. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront reprogrammer le groupe d'instruments.
