The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with an Idle Free Model BA600 Electric Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), the mounting points on the housing of the APU could crack or tear. This could cause the power unit to possibly fail, or detach from the truck, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, install a welded gusset upgrade kit and stronger clamping brackets.

Sur certains véhicules munis d'un groupe auxiliaire de puissance (GAP)anti-ralenti de modèle BA600, les points de montage sur le logement du GAP pourraient se fissurer ou se briser. Cela pourrait entraîner une défaillance du bloc moteur, ou le GPA pourrait se détacher du camion et présenter un danger pour la circulation et augmenter les risques d'accident causant des blessures ou des dommages matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et, au besoin, installer un ensemble de mise à niveau de gousset soudé et des supports plus résistants.
