The issue

On certain vehicles, the exterior folding ladder may not be properly secured to the sidewall of the vehicle. If the ladder is not fastened securely to the sidewall, it may pull loose from the vehicle while an individual is utilizing the ladder, leading to an increased risk of personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect ladder securing fasteners and replace as necessary.

Sur certains véhicules, l'échelle pliante extérieure pourrait ne pas avoir été bien fixée en place sur la paroi latérale du véhicule. Si elle est mal fixée à la paroi, elle pourrait se détacher du véhicule pendant qu'une personne l'utilise, ce qui augmenterait les risques de blessures. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les dispositifs de fixation de l'échelle et les remplacer au besoin.
