The issue

On certain vehicles, the fuel return hose could deteriorate when subjected to various chemicals and lubricants, such as those used when cleaning the vehicle or used in certain rear body applications. If the fuel return hose were to deteriorate, it could swell and come off. This would result in a fuel leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will inspect the fuel return hose. If a defective hose is found installed, it will be replaced with an improved hose.

Sur certains véhicules, le tuyau de retour de carburant pourrait se détériorer lorsqu'il est exposé à divers produits chimiques et lubrifiants comme ceux utilisés pour nettoyer le véhicule ou dans les applications de carrosserie arrière. Si le tuyau de retour de carburant se détériore, il pourrait gonfler et se détacher, ce qui causerait des fuites de carburant qui, en présence d'une source d'allumage, pourrait causer un incendie. Correction : Les concessionnaires doivent inspecter le tuyau de retour de carburant et le remplacer s'il est défectueux.
