The issue
On certain vehicles, one of the four bolts that attach the driver side seat belt assembly to the vehicle may not have been fully torqued during assembly. An insufficiently torqued seat belt fastener may not adequately restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will remove the driver side B-pillar garnish trim, inspect and re-torque bolts if required.

Sur certains véhicules, l'un des quatre boulons qui fixent la ceinture de sécurité du conducteur sur le véhicule pourrait ne pas avoir été entièrement serré au cours de l'assemblage. Un dispositif de fixation de ceinture de sécurité mal serré pourrait ne pas retenir un occupant lors d'un accident, ce qui augmenterait les risques de blessures ou de dommages matériels (ou les deux). Correction : Les concessionnaires devront retirer la garniture du montant central du côté du conducteur, puis inspecter les boulons et les resserrer au besoin.
