The issue

Certain travel trailers may have been manufactured with 2 separate LED rope lights as back lighting for the countertop that could touch at the unprotected ends. This could cause a short circuit which would increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a heat shrink tube over the unprotected end of the LED rope lights.

Pendant la fabrication de certaines caravanes classiques, les deux cordes à DEL distinctes devant assurer le rétroéclairage du comptoir pourraient se toucher à leurs extrémités ouvertes. Cela pourrait provoquer un court-circuit et accroître les risques d’incendie causant des blessures et/ou des dommages matériels. Correction : les détaillants doivent fixer une gaine thermorétractable aux extrémités ouvertes des cordes.
