The issue

On certain vehicles, the glass panel of the sunroof may not have been properly bonded to the sunroof frame. This could allow the glass panel to separate from the vehicle while driving, creating a road hazard which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will apply additional adhesive between the sunroof frame and glass panel.

Le panneau de verre du toit ouvrant de certains véhicules pourrait avoir été mal fixé au cadre du toit ouvrant. Par conséquent, le panneau de verre pourrait se séparer du véhicule pendant que celui-ci est en mouvement, ce qui représenterait un danger routier qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront appliquer de l'adhésif supplémentaire entre le cadre du toit ouvrant et le panneau de verre.
