The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with a Stratosphere sleeper cab, a seat belt mount failed during testing due to an incorrect diameter hole on the seat belt anchor plate. If this condition is present, the seat belt may not properly restrain the occupant in the event of a crash, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will reinforce the seat belt anchor plate.

Dans certains véhicules munis d'une cabine couchette Stratosphere, un support de ceinture de sécurité a présenté une défaillance lors d'un essai, en raison d'un trou ayant un diamètre incorrect dans la plaque d'ancrage de la ceinture de sécurité. Si ce problème est présent, la ceinture de sécurité pourrait ne pas retenir adéquatement l'occupant en cas d'accident, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront renforcer la plaque d'ancrage de la ceinture de sécurité.
