The issue

On certain buses, the material used to make the front steering knuckle carriers may not meet specifications. Under certain circumstances, the steering knuckle carriers could crack, potentially causing the wheel to separate from the vehicle. This would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction : Dealers will inspect and replace the steering knuckle carriers as necessary.

Dans certains autobus, le matériau utilisé pour fabriquer les porte-fusées de direction avant pourrait ne pas être conforme aux spécifications. Dans certaines circonstances, les porte-fusées de direction pourraient se fissurer, ce qui pourrait causer la séparation de la roue du véhicule. Cela augmenterait les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les porte-fusées de direction, ainsi que les remplacer au besoin.
