The issue
On certain vehicles, the left hand inner sill panel may be cracked. In the event of a crash, the underfloor fuel line could be ruptured which would result in a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the inner sill panel for cracking. If cracking is found the vehicle will be re-purchased by Jaguar Land Rover and the customer will be supplied with a new vehicle.

Le panneau de seuil intérieur gauche de certains véhicules pourrait être fissuré. En cas d'accident, la conduite de carburant sous le plancher pourrait se briser et causer une fuite de carburant. En présence d'une source d'inflammation, la fuite de carburant pourrait augmenter les risques d'incendie pouvant causer des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter le panneau de seuil intérieur pour vérifier s'il est fissuré. Le cas échéant, le véhicule sera racheté par Jaguar Land Rover, et un nouveau véhicule sera fourni au propriétaire.
