The issue

On certain vehicles, the generant mix ratio of the driver side curtain airbag may not meet specifications. In the event of a crash, an improper generant mix could prevent the side curtain airbag from deploying properly, which would increase the risk of injury to the driver. Correction: Dealers will replace the driver side curtain airbag assembly.

Dans certains véhicules, le rapport de mélange du générateur de gaz du rideau gonflable latéral du conducteur pourrait ne pas respecter les spécifications. En cas d'accident, un mélange incorrect dans le générateur de gaz pourrait empêcher le rideau gonflable latéral de se déployer adéquatement, ce qui augmenterait les risques de blessures pour le conducteur. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le rideau gonflable latéral du conducteur.
