The issue

Certain travel trailers may have been manufactured with an incorrect drawbar to tow the trailer. Under certain circumstances, this could cause the drawbar to bend which could lead to poor vehicle handling, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a reinforcement channel over the drawbar to increase the strength of the drawbar.

Certaines caravanes classiques pourraient avoir été munies d'une barre de traction incorrecte lors de leur fabrication. Dans certaines circonstances, la barre pourrait fléchir, ce qui pourrait nuire au comportement routier du véhicule et augmenter les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront poser un profilé de renfort sur la barre de traction pour en augmenter la résistance.
