The issue

On certain motorcycles, one or more of the bolts that connect the right-side pivot pin to the frame may not have been tightened to specification due to a manufacturing issue. This could result in the pivot pin loosening, which could affect vehicle handling and stability and could result in loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will remove and clean the pivot pin bolts, and apply an adhesive and ensure proper torque of the bolts.

Dans certaines motocyclettes, un boulon ou plus qui raccorde l'axe d'articulation de droite au cadre pourrait avoir été mal serré en raison d'un problème de fabrication. Par conséquent, l'axe d'articulation pourrait se desserrer, ce qui pourrait nuire au comportement routier et à la stabilité du véhicule et pourrait provoquer une perte de maîtrise. Cela augmenterait les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront retirer et nettoyer les boulons de l'axe d'articulation, ainsi qu'appliquer un adhésif et assurer un serrage adéquat des boulons.
