The issue
On certain vehicles, the hardware that attaches a power cable to the fuse box post may not have been tightened to specification during assembly. This could result in resistant heating potentially occurring, and could cause the cable and fuse box to overheat, which could increase the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect for any damage to the fuse box and repaired as necessary. The nuts attaching the cable to the post will also be replaced and tightened to specification.

Sur certains véhicules, le matériel qui fixe un câble d'alimentation au poteau de boîte à fusibles pourrait ne pas avoir été serré conformément aux spécifications pendant le montage. Cela pourrait causer un chauffage par résistance, ainsi que la surchauffe du câble et de la boîte à fusibles, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'un incendie blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront vérifier si la boîte à fusibles est endommagée, et réparer les dommages le cas échéant. Les écrous fixant le câble au poteau devront aussi être remplacés et serrés conformément aux spécifications.
