The issue

On certain motorcycles, the engine management software may not maintain a stable engine idle when the throttle is opened and closed quickly, with the clutch disengaged. This could result in the engine stalling, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the engine management software.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, le logiciel de gestion du moteur pourrait mal contrôler le ralenti du moteur lorsque le papillon des gaz est ouvert ou fermé rapidement et que l'embrayage est débrayé. Cela pourrait entraîner le calage du moteur, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront reprogrammer le logiciel de gestion du moteur.
