The issue

On certain vehicles, the rear connection point from the side curtain air bags to the air bag inflators could disengage during deployment. If this occurs, the effectiveness of the side curtain air bags could be reduced, which would increase the risk of injury to the occupants. Correction: Dealers will replace the side curtain airbag modules with an updated design.

Sur certains véhicules, le point de raccordement arrière entre les rideaux gonflables et les dispositifs de gonflage de rideau gonflable pourrait se détacher pendant le déploiement. Si cela se produisait, l'efficacité des rideaux gonflables pourrait être réduite, ce qui augmenterait le risque de blessures pour les occupants. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les modules de rideau gonflable par des modules d'un modèle à jour.
