The issue

On certain motorhomes, the wiring for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system could become disconnected. If the wiring for the HVAC system's potentiometer were to become disconnected, there is a risk that the wiring may be reconnected improperly, which could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the HVAC controller’s existing potentiometer, and either solder the wires or replace the control panel, as necessary. Note: Owners are advised that if the HVAC control panel becomes inoperable for any reason, to not use it or attempt any repairs. It must be inspected and if necessary, repaired or replaced by a certified REV Recreation Group dealer technician.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, le câblage du système de chauffage, de ventilation et de climatisation (CVC) pourrait se débrancher. Si le câblage du potentiomètre du système de CVC se débranchait, il se pourrait qu'il ne soit pas rebranché correctement, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques d'incendie pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter le potentiomètre du tableau de commande du système de CVC et souder les câbles ou remplacer le tableau de commande au besoin. Remarque : En cas de défaillance du tableau de commande du système de CVC pour quelque raison que ce soit, les propriétaires ne devraient pas l'utiliser ni tenter de le réparer. Le tableau devrait être inspecté et, au besoin, réparé ou remplacé, par un technicien certifié d'un concessionnaire de REV Recreation Group.
