The issue

On certain vehicles, the rear insulation mat within the engine compartment might deform, deteriorate and loosen, allowing it to contact hot exhaust system components. This could lead to ignition of the insulation mat and increase the risk of an engine compartment fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the rear insulation mat.

La natte isolante arrière dans le compartiment moteur de certains véhicules pourrait se déformer, se détériorer et se détacher; elle pourrait ainsi entrer en contact avec des éléments chauds de l'échappement. Si la natte entrait en contact avec des éléments chauds cela pourrait augmenter les risques de feu dans le compartiment moteur et causer des blessures et/ou des dommages matériels. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires doivent remplacer la natte isolante arrière.
