The issue

Certain cab chassis vehicles may have been built without corrosion protection on the two brake hoses located between the master cylinder and the hydraulic control unit. Premature corrosion of the hoses may cause a brake fluid leak and potentially result in a partial or complete loss of brake function, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the brake hoses, and repair as necessary.

Les deux canalisations de frein situées entre le maître-cylindre et le module de commande hydraulique de certains châssis-cabines pourraient ne pas avoir été revêtues d'une protection anticorrosion. Une corrosion prématurée des canalisations pourrait causer une fuite de liquide de frein et potentiellement causer la perte partielle ou complète de la capacité de freinage, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de collision causant des blessures et/ou des dommages matériels. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires doivent inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer les canalisations de freinage.
