The issue

On certain vehicles, the seat belt D-ring mounting bolts may break due to a material defect. If this occurs, the seat belt may not properly restrain the seat occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the driver and passenger D-ring mounting bolts and replace them as necessary.

Dans certains véhicules, les boulons de montage d’anneau en D de ceinture de sécurité pourraient cassés en raison d’un défaut matériel, ce qui pourrait empêcher la ceinture de bien immobiliser un occupant lors d’une collision et accroître les risques de blessures. Mesure corrective : les détaillants doivent inspecter les boulons des côtés du conducteur et du passager et les remplacer, s’il y a lieu.
