The issue

On certain vehicles, an issue in the software that manages the brake system Hydraulic Unit may allow it to reset without warning and could cause some vehicle features to malfunction. If this were to occur while driving, the following features may be affected: automatic braking (if Automatic Cruise Control (ACC) and/or Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) is in operation), Antilock Brake System (ABS), Active Stability Control (ASC), Brake Auto Hold (BAH). If these systems malfunction, there could be an increased risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the Hydraulic Unit control software.

Dans certains véhicules, un problème lié au logiciel qui gère le circuit hydraulique du système de freinage pourrait lui permettre de se réinitialiser sans avertissement et pourrait causer un mauvais fonctionnement de certaines fonctions du véhicule. Si ce problème survient pendant que le véhicule est en mouvement, les fonctions suivantes pourraient être touchées : freinage automatique (si le régulateur de vitesse automatique [ACC] et/ou le système d'atténuation de collision avant [FCM] sont en marche), système de freinage antiblocage (ABS), contrôle actif de stabilité (ASC), bouton Auto Hold (BAH). Si ces systèmes fonctionnement mal, il pourrait y avoir un risque accru d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront mettre à jour le logiciel de contrôle du circuit hydraulique.
