The issue

Certain vehicles may have been built with an improperly welded front track bar bracket. This could result in the bracket separating from the frame, which would reduce steering response and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and repair the front track bar bracket welds as necessary. Note: Prior to complete separation of the bracket from the frame, a driver may notice a front end noise, an off-center steering wheel position, a “Service Electronic Stability Control” message and/or Electronic Stability control light on in the instrument cluster.

Certains véhicules pourraient avoir été munis lors de leur construction d'un support de barre de route avant mal soudé. Cela pourrait faire en sorte que le support se détache du châssis, ce qui diminuerait la réponse de la direction et augmenterait les risques d'un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et réparer les soudures du support de barre de route avant au besoin. Note : Avant le détachement complet du support du châssis, le conducteur pourrait remarquer un bruit à l'extrémité avant, un décentrage du volant, la présence du message « Service Electronic Stability Control » ou l'illumination du voyant « Electronic Stability Control » dans le groupe d'instruments.
