The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with side curtain airbags, the installation bolts could damage the airbags when they deploy. In the event of a crash requiring deployment of the side curtain airbags, the airbags may not inflate properly, which could increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants. Correction: Dealers will install a protective cover over the side curtain airbag installation bolts.

Sur certains véhicules munis de rideaux gonflables latéraux, les boulons de fixation pourraient endommager les rideaux gonflables lorsque ceux-ci sont déployés. En cas de collision nécessitant le déploiement des rideaux gonflables latéraux, les rideaux gonflables pourraient ne pas se déployer adéquatement, ce qui pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures aux occupants du véhicule. Correction : Les concessionnaires installeront des couvre-boulons sur les boulons de fixation des rideaux gonflables latéraux.
