The issue

On certain Grand Cherokee SRT and Trackhawk models, the driver’s floor mat could interfere with the accelerator pedal. If the pedal becomes stuck on the floor mat, an unintended acceleration event could occur, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the driver’s floor mat and install a revised version as required.

Dans certains modèles Grand Cherokee SRT et Trackhawk, le tapis du côté du conducteur pourrait nuire à l'enfoncement de la pédale d'accélérateur. Si la pédale se coince sur le tapis, il pourrait y avoir une accélération imprévue, ce qui augmenterait les risques d'accident pouvant entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels (ou les deux). Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter le tapis du côté du conducteur, ainsi qu'installer un tapis modifié au besoin.
