The issue

On certain motorcycles, a torsion spring within the transmission could break, making shifting gears difficult or impossible. This could increase the risk of a loss of control that may result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the torsion spring with one with a different design. Note: In the interim, owners are advised to stop use until recall repairs are performed.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, un ressort de torsion dans la boîte de vitesses pourrait se briser, ce qui rendrait le passage des rapports difficile ou impossible. Cela pourrait augmenter les risques d'une perte de contrôle qui pourrait causer un accident blessant quelqu'un ou endommageant des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le ressort de torsion par un ressort de conception différente. Note : On avise les propriétaires d'arrêter d'utiliser leur motocyclette jusqu'à ce que le remplacement ait été effectué.
