The issue
Issue: On certain vehicles, the fuel tank could be punctured in a crash. Safety Risk: Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, creates the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have additional rivets installed on the lower crash beam.

Risques pour la sécurité : Les fuites de carburant, en présence d'une source d'inflammation, créent un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par courrier d'apporter leur véhicule chez le concessionnaire pour faire installer des rivets supplémentaires sur la poutre de choc inférieure.
