The issue
Issue: On certain vehicles, the airbag sensors may not be properly attached to the chassis. This could cause the airbag system not work as designed in a crash. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the airbag sensors fasteners inspected. Dealers will ensure the fasteners are properly tightened.

Problème : Dans certains véhicules, les capteurs de coussin gonflable pourraient avoir été mal fixés au châssis. Par conséquent, le système de coussin gonflable pourrait ne pas fonctionner comme prévu en cas d'accident. Risque pour la sécurité : Un système de coussin gonflable qui ne fonctionne pas correctement en cas d'accident pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures. Mesures correctives : L'entreprise devra aviser les propriétaires par la poste. Les propriétaires devront amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire afin de faire inspecter les dispositifs de fixation des capteurs de coussin gonflable.
