The issue
Issue: On certain RV trailers, the microwave vent hood does not vent outside the trailer. If the range is operated without a proper vent, this could allow a build-up of carbon monoxide inside the trailer. Safety Risk: A build-up of carbon monoxide could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their trailer to a dealer to install a vent to the outside of the trailer.

Problème : Sur certaines remorques VR, la hotte de ventilation à micro-ondes ne s'évacue pas à l'extérieur de la remorque. Si la cuisinière est utilisée sans un évent approprié, cela pourrait causer une accumulation de monoxyde de carbone à l'intérieur de la remorque. Risques pour la sécurité : L'accumulation de monoxyde de carbone pourrait entraîner une asphyxie ou un empoisonnement au monoxyde de carbone. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur remorque chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer un évent vers l'extérieur de la remorque.
